Jippie, mijn blogboek is er.
Ik heb een selectie gemaakt van de posts op dit blog in de periode van aug 2006 tot juni 2007 en deze laten afdrukken in een (foto)boek van de Hema.
Ik ben er zeer tevreden mee.

Yeah, my blogbook had arrived.
I made a selection of the posts of this blog during the period aug 2006 untill june 2007 and have it printed in a (photo)album by the Hema (dutch store).
I'm very pleased with it.

Gisteren gekocht.....

.............. zomaar, omdat ik ze mooi vind.

Veel gescrapt de laatste dagen...........

Vooral veel vakantiefoto's gescrapt.

.................especially lots of holidaypictures.

De laatste LO heeft een grote foto met daarop mijn twee kinderen en de kinderen van mijn schoonzus en zwager. De foto is gemaakt toen we de verjaardagen vierden van mijn schoonouders. De kleine fotootjes zijn R en zijn neefje R., ze schelen 2 maanden in leeftijd en de andere foto is R. terqwijl hij an het pokeren is met zijn broer en neven.

Last LO shows a picture of my two kids and their nephews. The picture is taken when we celebrated the birthdays of my parents-in-law. De little pictures show R with his nephew R and the other picture shows R while playing poker.

Fotoboek

Van de week heb ik het fotoboek opgehaald dat ik van de vakantie foto's heb laten maken.
Het was de eerste keer dat ik zoiets heb gedaan en ik moet zeggen, het ziet er leuk uit.
Nu heb ik nog een goedkoop ringbandboekje laten maken, om het eens uit te proberen, maar inmiddels heb ik een groter, mooier boek laten maken van mijn weblogposts (mooi woord!). Ik hoop dat ik snel een berichtje krijg dat het klaar is......



Last week I picked up the book I ordered from our holidaypictures. It was the first time ever I did something like that. I really have to say: it looks nice! This time it was a cheap booklet but in the meantime I ordered a nicer, bigger book with posts from my weblog.
I can't wait to pick it up.

Eindelijk weer voetballen

Vandaag mochten ze eindelijk weer eens voetballen, het nieuwe team van onze jongste.
Hij voetbalt nu in D1.

Today they finally had to play soccer again, the new team in which our youngest is playing now. They are playing in D1.



Ze moesten vandaag een toernooi voetballen in Graauw. In totaal speelden ze 4 wedstrijden. En dit keer op een groot veld, terwijl ze vorig seizoen nog op een half veld speelden.

They had to play a tournament in Graauw, a little village along the Westerschelde. In total they played 4 matches.


En raad eens.... ze hebben alle wedstrijden gewonnen en waren dus toernooiwinnaar.

And guess what..... they won all matches, so they were the champions!

De foto's laten het team zien terwijl ze wachten op de prijsuitreiking.

Ze kregen allemaal een medaille en een grote beker voor in het clubgebouw.

They all received a medal and one big cup.

En ze moesten natuurlijk een ereronde maken.

Bramen

Vrijdag zijn we weer naar mijn zus geweest. De tuin had nog wat werk nodig (zie vorige post).

De kids hebben weer bramen geplukt en dit keer heb ik er een bramenkwarktaart van gemaakt.
Last Friday we went to my sisters' again. Her garden needed a bit more work (see last post). The kids picked blackberries again end this time I made a blackberriecheescake with it.

Yummie!

KNVB-voetbaldagen

Ze zijn weer begonnen, de KNVB-voetbaldagen. Rutger was een van de 108 gelukkigen die mochten meedoen. Vanochtend om 9.00 uur werden alle deelnemers verwacht op het terrein van onze eigen vereniging. Nadat iedereen zich had gemeld en in de juiste groep was ingedeeld mochten de "sterren" naar de kleedkamers om zich in het KNVB-tenue van dit jaar te hullen.

It started today, the soccerdays of the KNVB (the Dutch Soccer Organisation). Our youngest was one of the 108 participants. This morning, at 09.00 am, they had to sign in. The games are held on our own soccerfield. After the sign-in they went to the dressingrooms to change in their uniform. Everyone has the same outfit, so its hard to recognize your own child....

Op deze voetbaldagen doen de deelnemers allerlei spelletjes en wedstrijdjes, bedoelt om de technieken beter onder de knie te krijgen. Zo doen ze bijvoorbeeld 4-tegen-4, penaltyschieten, voetvolley, enz.

On this event (that last 3 days) the kids has to do a lot of games, to learn different techniques. They do 4-against-4-competition, penalty-competition, footvolley etc. They have a lot of fun and learning meanwhile.

Aan het eind van de dag, rond 16.00 uur, mogen de kinderen weer mee naar huis. Morgen is er weer een dag.....

At the end of the day, around 4 pm, the kids can go home. Tomorrow again.....

Here is the basic idea though:

1) Send ONE card to someone you know within 7 days! (family, friends, associates, cyber people, etc.) ANYONE!!! Doesn't matter who... Can you imagine the smile on their face when they open their mailbox and see a card from you?

2) Tag (yes, I know, but this is the only way to spread this) 5 people you know to do the same thing (Tag means tag them to send their own cards to their own people).

3) Proudly display this on your blog to spread a little sunshine and pass it on.

Picking blackberries

Vrijdag waren we bij een van mijn zussen. Haar (grote) tuin moest een beetje worden gefatsoeneerd en wij hadden onze hulp aangeboden.

Achter in de tuin staan grote brameplaten met heel veel rijpe bramen eraan. Die vroegen erom om geplukt te worden. Een mooie klusje voor R.......

Last friday we were at my sisters house. Her garden needed a bit of remodeling en we offered our help. At the back of the backyard there are blackberriebushes with lots of berries, ready to be picked. A nice little thing for R. to do.......

Summer at last!

Vandaag was het weer prachtig en daarom besloten we naar het strand te gaan.
Voordat we daar aankwamen gingen we eerst naar Oostburg waar een zandscuplturenfestival was. Helaas konden we maar 4 zandsculpturen ontdekken, maar goed, als ze dat daar een festival willen noemen.... Oke!

Today the whether was very nice so we decided to go to the beach. Before that we went to Oostburg (a little town in Holland) were they had a sandsculpture-festival.
Unfortunately we could find just 4 sculptures, but hey, if they call that a festival....Oke!




Deze sculpturen stellen Frankrijk, Belgie en Nederland voor, maar dat hadden jullie vast al wel gezien, niet? Daarna , na een half uur of zo, gingen we eindelijk naar het strand!

These sculptures suggests France, Belgium and of course The Netherlands, but you all did see that, didn't you!!
After that, took half an hour or so, we finally went to the beach. Yeah!!!!

R. had een geweldige tijd in het water met zijn voetbal, W. zat in de zon en wij .... we zaten in onze stoelen engenoten van de zon, het strand en de kids.

R. had a great time playing with his soccerball in the water, W. was enjoying the sunshine, and we.... we sat in our beachchairs and enjoyed the sun, the beach and the kids........
